Big Weekender at Wellington Country Park

Get ready for Welly Park’s Big Weekender, brand new for 2026! This exciting kids’ festival near Reading is packed with live entertainment, interactive activities, music and plenty of fun for children aged 2–8 years.

As well as all the fantastic attractions at Wellington Country Park that you already know and love, the Park has added even more reasons to make a day of it.

The Main Stage will host an incredible line-up of entertainment throughout the day. Enjoy high-energy performances from Junk Jodie, David Taylor the Magician and Molly Kidz TV, alongside fantastic shows from Bonkers Balloon and the brilliant Dangerous Dave. Throughout the day, Molly Kidz TV and Junk Jodie will keep the excitement flowing as your Big Weekender hosts.

Turn up the fun at the Silent Disco, running from 10.30am to 4.30pm! Grab a pair of headphones and choose between two music channels. Sing, dance and groove along to a playlist packed with children’s favourite tunes.

Little festival-goers can also get creative by decorating their very own festival wristband to take home as a special keepsake.

The Park’s Play Zones will be open all day, giving children plenty of opportunities to play, explore and let their imaginations run wild. From car tracks and busy boards to interactive games and hands-on activities, there’s something to keep every little adventurer entertained.

When it’s time to refuel, The Little Welly Arms will be serving a dedicated Kids’ Bar with special drinks and child-friendly refreshments.
