Battle of the Bangs - Live Science Show at Techniquest Cardiff

One of the highlights of a day out at Techniquest in Cardiff over the summer is this live science show aiming to decide which of the centre’s exploding demos over the last 40 years is the best!

See booms and fireballs go head to head and find out which reigns supreme? Will it be Sodium Metal, Hydrogen Balloon, Chip Pan Fire or another? Cast your votes for your favourites and help crown the winner of Battle of the Bangs.

This half-hour science show is suitable for ages five years and over, but all are welcome (all under 16s must be accompanied by an adult). Tickets are free of charge and there is a first come, first served queue on the day. Alternatively, book guaranteed access for £1 per person (subject to availability) when booking Techniquest admission tickets in advance.

Dates

Weekends plus daily in school holidays from 11th July to 2nd September.

Shows scheduled to start at 11.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm, 2.30pm and 3.30pm.
