Wollaton Hall is a spectacular Grade I listed Elizabethan mansion built in the 1580s, and houses the city’s Natural History Museum along with reconstructed room settings from different periods in the Hall’s history.
Take a tour and look out for family events and heritage days, or if you prefer a day out in the fresh air, take advantage of the extensive grounds and parkland with a family picnic.
There are cafes and shops and parking is £5 per car for all day.
