Wheal Martyn is a great day out for all the family, with lots of interesting things to see and do, with something for everyone.

Discover Cornwall’s rich China Clay heritage in the indoor, interactive displays. They tell the story of the men, women and children who lived, worked and played in the shadow of the china clay tips.

See Cornwall’s largest working water wheel, the fully preserved Victorian china clay works, machinery and equipment exhibitions and the Vintage commercial vehicles and locomotive.

There is also a fun children’s woodland play area, and a cycle or walking trail to St Austell and the Eden Project.
