Via Ferrata in Cumbria

If you are looking for truly adventurous activities then take the climb on this Victorian miners ’iron way’ up Fleetwith Pike, towering 2000ft above the valley! The adventure activities are located at Honister Slate Mine in Cumbria where you can also take a Mine Tour and Climb the Mine adventure.

There are two options available, Classic or Extreme guided by professionals and secured to the mountain by cable throughout. Suitable for children over 10 years and 1.30m height only and 10 to 16 years children must be accompanied by and adult.

You can also take the ’Infiniti Bridge’ adventure, strung across a breathtaking gorge high up on the mountain it is the longest of this type of bridge in Britain – not for the faint hearted!
