One of the places to go in Warwickshire for a family day out is Upton House and Gardens, close to the county border with Oxfordshire. Explore this impressive country home, created by Lord and Lady Bearsted in 1927. One of the highlights is the art collection including fabulous paintings and rare porcelain.
Outside are beautiful gardens and a woodland trail offering kids plenty of opportunities for natural play. There are also wonderful walks in the surrounding landscape such as a short circular route taking in views of the site of the historic Battle of Edgehill.
