Thorp Perrow Arboretum

Take a family picnic when you visit Thorp Perrow Woodland Garden, Bird of Prey and Mammal Centre in Bedale. On a day out in North Yorkshire you can get close to the birds of prey, you might see the baby owls if you visit in spring, see flying demonstrations, look out for the animals in ’wallaby wood’ and ’meerkat island’ and enjoy the red squirrel enclosure. In the gardens there are fantastic woodland trails, children’s trail and a woodland adventure play area where the kids can enjoy fun and fresh air in a natural environment. There is also a great tea room offering hot and cold snacks and light meals enabling you to make a full day of your family day out.

Admission prices include both the Arboretum and Bird of Prey & Mammal Centre, family tickets are available.
