The Winding House details...
Discover the history of South Wales and in particular Caerphilly County Borough on an outing to the family-friendly Winding House Museum. There are plenty of interactive exhibits to keep young explorers happy.
Built on the former site of the Elliot Colliery, the museum has the original Victorian winding engine as its centre-piece. Visitors can see the engine in action on selected dates during the year. There is also a changing programme of exhibitions.
