Stratford Town Walk details...

Both fun and educational, this daily guided walking tour is a great way for families to learn about Stratford-upon-Avon’s history, attractions and links with William Shakespeare. History will come to life as you listen to tales of plague, fire, flood and medieval cures. See the Shakespeare Houses, Royal Shakespeare Theatres, River Avon, Holy Trinity Church and much more as you stroll through the ancient town on the Stratford Town Walk. There is no need to book in advance and walks start from Waterside, by the Swan fountain, near the Royal Shakespeare Theatre.

Alternatively, look forward to an evening of good old-fashioned storytelling on the award-winning Stratford Ghost Walk.  Professional entertainers will take you on an entertaining walk around the haunted streets of Stratford. Hear about a jilted bride who appears at a local hotel, the 17th-century haunted tearoom and the ghost at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre. This ghost walk may not be suitable for children aged under eight years and booking is required.

Please see Stratford Town Walk’s website for walk times, prices and other details.
