One of the best places to go with the kids in Glasgow is Ryze, just outside the city centre, and just a short walk from Kinning Park Subway Station. Located in a b-listed former print-works, Ryze is Glasgow’s original indoor trampoline park and continues to attract kids and adults looking for a fun and exhilarating way to enjoy time together. Boasting nearly 20,000 square feet of interconnected trampolines with launching decks, angled wall trampolines, slam dunk hoops, dodgeball court, foam pits and two suspended punch bags, there is something here for every jumper, no matter their age or ability.
The foam pit is always fun – you can enter it by using one of the launch pad trampolines, flying into it from The Wedge or jumping in from the 2.5 -metre high Tower. Use the trampolines to propel yourself to new heights as you powerslam-dunk the ultimate basketball hoops!
Every morning, from 10.00- 11.00 is Kidjump – a dedicated session, especially for youngsters aged 2 – 6, where they have the park all to themselves and can play freely without those pesky bigger kids and adults getting in the way! Each kid must be accompanied by a supervising adult (Who won’t be allowed to play – remember it’s the childrens’ time!) As a precaution, the High Tower is closed during Kidjump – just in case…
Every Monday between 6pm and 9 pm is Family Night, especially for kids and their immediate family, where a one hour session is available at a rate of £25 per family.
Ryze is also a cool place for a party and they offer a range of party packages, consisting of 1 hour of jump time and 45 minutes in one of their dedicated party rooms, complete with host to help set up, organise and clear up, further details and booking information is available on the website. Ryze will also happily host school field trips, contact them directly to organise something out of the ordinary for your class or educational group.
On-line pre-booking is advisable and you can also fill in the waivers, which saves a lot of time on the day, and as usual – it’s best to get there early to minimise any delays in getting on to the trampolines.
