Rother Valley Country Park

Pack a family picnic and head out with the kids to Rother Valley Country Park for the day. Enjoy the outdoors on foot or on bikes following the trails around the lakes and wildlife reserve, cycles can be hired at the hire centre. Watch the water sports on the vast lake or take part in a water based activity such as sailing, canoeing, kayaks, pedal boats, rowing and zorbing. There is a full programme of events throughout the year that make a fantastic family day out, from trail runs and triathlons to the British Hovercraft Championship competition.

There is also a fabulous adventure play park for children open from the end of March to the end of October. It also offers children’s Birthday parties with the option to combine with another activity such as the Creepy Crawlies wildlife fun pond dipping session for younger children or any of the water based activities for older children over 9 years.

There is a parking charge per vehicle and there after activities are charged on a pay as you go basis.
