Part of a World Heritage Site, Pontcysyllte Aqueduct near Llangollen should be high on any list of places to go with kids in North East Wales. Walk across Thomas Telford’s amazing aqueduct or cross by canal boat (public boat trips leave from both Trevor Basin and Llangollen). You will need a head for heights! Other attractions within the 11 miles of World Heritage include Horseshoe Falls and Chirk Aqueduct and Tunnel, so allow plenty of time to explore!
