Pirate's Quest details...

Pirate’s Quest is an immersive walk-through experience which combines talented theatrical actors, amazing special effects, and detailed 360⁰ sets in an authentic, atmospheric adventure.

A live Pirate Guide will lead you through realistic scenes on an hour-long journey into the history of piracy. Explore the mystical caves and murky streets of eighteenth century Cornwall and learn about the real Caribbean Pirates!

If you’re feeling brave enough you’ll have the option to enter the Scare Section of the experience, filled with screams and laughter! (This part can be easily avoided for those who wish, by choosing the alternative safe route.)

Pirate’s Quest has a brand new story-line for 2019 that will allow visitors to ‘Join the Pirate Heroes’.

Calico Jack’s crew of live pirate performers are tasked with guiding you through the authentic sets and scenes of Pirate’s Quest and introducing you to four of history’s most scandalous Scallywags. It will then be down to each group of visitors to vote which Pirate Hero they will crown as leader of the Republic of Pirates. Will it be Black Bart the Puritan Pirate, Anne Bonny the Princess of Piracy, William Kiddthe stylish Scotsman or the notorious Captain Blackbeard?

But before deciding on your favourite rapscallion, you will first have to survive an adventure of your own. Prepare to be transported back 300 years to the height of the Golden Age of Piracy.

Throughout the year there are a number of events taking place during the school holidays. Be the first to join in on an adventure in 2019 during the February Half Term Special Preview Tours! Discover the Legend of the Golden Egg over the Easter school holidays and go on an adventure during the May Bank Holiday with the Caribbean Invasion.

May Half Term will see the Beastly Buccaneers disgust visitors with a week of horrible tales of pirate life before the Summer of Scoundrels and Scallywags will entertain families throughout the school holidays. Ending the year it’s Curses and Corssbones for October Half Term with a week of frightfully fun family friendly adventures!

Birthday experiences at Pirate’s Quest are very popular and a memorable experience for little ones! A Pirate’s Quest birthday experience includes an exclusive hour-long tour, a live Pirate Host and Treasure Trail.

Booking online in advance at Pirate’s Quest is essential to securing your adventure and avoiding disappointment. Tour times are available on the website. Pirate’s Quest opens February Half Term and remains open until the end of October Half Term.
