Park Hall Countryside Experience

One of the most popular places to go for a family day out in Shropshire is Park Hall Countryside Experience, a national award-winning farm attraction. It is a whole family day out filled with animal antics, action, fun and adventure.

Get up close to your farmyard favourites with a regular schedule of interactive events. Bottle-feed lambs in spring and early summer, groom ponies, or lead the heavy horses. Try hand-milking a real cow or cuddle gorgeous bunnies, and don’t miss the spectacular pig racing event!

This all-weather attraction has massive indoor play barns, while outside there are adventure courses, climbing areas, play houses and great walks for all the family. Have a bounce in the Space Hopper Arena and board regular tractor rides throughout the day.

Hugely popular with kids are the brilliant driving experiences for different ages. Try out the electric powered tractors and pedal go karts (age restrictions may apply). Meanwhile, in the Science Illusion Zone you will find light experiments, picture illusions and a giant kaleidoscope.

At a more sedate pace visit the wonderful heritage exhibits. The Iron Age Roundhouse offers a glimpse of life in the distant past. See uniforms, artefacts and memorabilia in the Welsh Guards Museum – kids will have the chance to dress up and stand in a sentry box! Explore the World War Trenches and find out what life was like for soldiers in the trenches during both WWI and WWII. The Victorian School is open for group visits.
