Ness Botanic Gardens

Visit the family favourite botanical gardens for the day where there is huge area of landscaped plants and pond life to discover in the botanic gardens run by the University of Liverpool. The collection of plants is exceptional and the kids will really enjoy viewing the unusual ’stone’ plants in the greenhouses.

The children will love the climbing frame in the play area, the toy tractors, the ’Wilder-Ness’, discovering sculptures and the pink Art Shed, running around the grass labyrinth, the family trails and the secret ’Woodhenge’.

There is an excellent cafe serving delicious hot food and snacks plus a well stocked plant nursery and gift shop. Look out for the  regular family fun events held throughout the year including a Santa’s Grotto at Christmas time.
