Northampton Active Whitewater Centre

Enjoy something new and exciting with the kids this year, experience a range of thrilling activities at Northampton Active the whitewater centre.

The centre offers an artificially pumped whitewater course with a number of fun and adventurous activities. Whether it’s for a big birthday or a family weekend trip, there will be something for you.

If you are looking for a family activity, try your hand at staying afloat on the inflatable rings as you slip and slide down the course trying to avoid eddies and whirlpools. If you prefer something more extreme, get your family involved in a whitewater rafting session and work together to get yourselves to the bottom of the 250M course.

There are activity days throughout the school holidays offering two day events with a range of activities including canoeing, kayaking, tubing and raft building along with a variety of water based games and a lunchtime trip down the river. At the end the sessions, children will take home a certificate detailing all the exciting things they have done during their visit.
