National Wool Museum details...

Follow the family trail, ’A Woolly Tale’, and learn how fleece is transformed into fabric on a free day out with the kids at the National Wool Museum near Llandysul in West Wales. See the restored mill buildings and the historic machinery, learn about the Welsh woollen industry and have a go at carding, spinning and sewing along the way.

There are special events and activities for families throughout the year. Outside, in the Museum grounds, is a Natural Dye Garden filled with plants used for making natural dyes to be used in workshops.

The Weaving Shed is undergoing renovation so may not be open to visitors.
