In People, Communities and Lives visitors can find out how the Industrial Revolution in Wales impacted on people’s lives. Then move on to Transport, Materials and Networks and track the momentous changes that took place during the 19th century, such as Richard Trevithick’s development of the steam locomotive.
Finish your visit at Made at Wales, where displays highlight how the heavy industry of the past has been superseded since the 1930s by high-tech commerce, research and tourism. On display are many items that will be familiar to older generations, such as Corgi Toys and Spectrum Computers!
