Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre

Whatever your favourite activity, you’re sure to be able to enjoy it at the Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre in Stowmarket.

There are three swimming pools – the main 25m pool, a learner pool and a toddlers’ pool – so all members of the family can enjoy the water, whatever their confidence and experience level. The main pool hosts all manner of aquatic activities, including lane swimming, family-friendly sessions, inflatable fun and Everyone Active’s award-winning swimming lessons.

Kids will love the fantastic fun Play World soft play. This indoor play area for children up to 12 years includes ball cannons, slides, aerial glide, football zone, and separate baby/toddler areas. There’s also a comfortable seating area for the adults!

Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre also boasts East Anglia’s premier climbing facility in the form of The Cragg climbing wall. Here, you can enjoy 330 square metres of climbing surface, a dedicated bouldering wall and more than 30 lead and top rope lines. The routes are changed regularly to keep them challenging. There are casual sessions and lessons available for climbers of all abilities aged five years and over.

The centre boasts a modern gym with more than 100 stations of top-of-the-range cardio, resistance, free weights and functional equipment to suit everyone. Supervised gym sessions are available for children aged 11 years and over.

There’s also a range of group fitness classes to suit all tastes, as well as an indoor bowls hall, squash courts and tennis courts too.

Outside, there’s a brand-new football pitch and a fully-floodlit 200m oval track and field facility, giving your family the chance to try out even more sports and activities!

The on-site café will give you the chance to refuel the family after all the fun and activity.

Saturday:  8am – 4.30pm

Sunday:  7am – 9pm
