M&D's, Scotland's Theme Park

M&D’s is Scotland’s number one destination for theme park fun for all the family. Established over twenty years ago M&D’s has been providing fun, thrills and excitement to kids both large and small ever since. It truly is several days out all rolled in to one.

There are oodles of rides especially for younger kids, such as the Mini Dodgems, the Monster Machines, Disco Boats, Toy Town and trampolines.  The Big Apple, Drop Tower and Runaway Mine Train will appeal to all the family, while those who don’t mind getting a wee bit wet are sure to enjoy White Water with its ravine, flumes and drops. The thrill seekers are well catered for too – the Giant Condor, Captain’s Curse and Tornado will provide excitement on a grand scale.

As well as rides, M&D’s provides a host of other attractions. Amongst others, there is Scotland’s only glow-in-the-dark tenpin bowling at Cosmic Bowl. Ideal for families with younger children is the giant Krazy Kongo Softplay, complete with ball pits, rope walks, chutes and trampolines. An indoor game Zone will appeal to older kids, with over 150 games, which are constantly updated. Adventure golf is always great family fun, and Devil’s Island at M&D’s is no exception! Play in sunken bridges, caves and over water – prizes are available for really good players.

M&D’s is also home to Amazonia, Scotland’s only indoor tropical rainforest. Amazonia provides the chance to encounter marmosets, gheckos, chameleons, poison dart frogs and giant millipedes; tarantulas, toucans, parrots and many others in an authentic rainforest setting.

There are plenty of food and drink options to choose from too. The Family Restaurant offers a comprehensive menu, from simple starters through to delicious desserts. Big Al’s Grill Guru provides a tempting range of burgers, chicken, pulled pork and hot dogs – and fries too. Lighter bites, such as pizza twists, mini fillet wraps and burgers are available at Big Al’s Deli. Mario & Dino’s Pizzeria is the place to go for pizza aficionados.
