Lydford Gorge is designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) for its geology, flora and fauna.
Families can go on one of many walks, into a temperate rainforest, past cascading waterfalls and fascinating rock formations.
Choose the easy walk to the spectacular White Lady Waterfall, which at 30-metres is the highest in the South West. As you enjoy your walk look out for amazing wildlife.
There is a small bird hide and a tearoom.
Parts of the site are closed in winter.
