Loggerheads Country Park in North Wales is a good place to start a family day out exploring the Clwydian Range AONB. Discover the beautiful landscape of wooded river valley, steep cliffs and outcrops. There is a visitor centre, picnic area and network of waymarked paths including a Discovery Trail. Within the woodland is evidence of Loggerheads’ lead mining past such as the old water course constructed to carry the water needed for mining.
