Enjoy the fresh air on a kids day out in Carmarthenshire at Llyn Llech Owain Country Park with its beautiful lake, peat bog and woodland. There are nature trails, a great adventure play area, picnic benches, a forest track for longer walks and cycle rides (take your own bikes) and a rough mountain bike trail for the adventurous.
Pop into the visitor centre in the Discovery Tower for fun interactive games and lots of information about the park. The kids are likely to be interested to discover the legend explaining how the lake got its name.
