Llandegfedd Lake

Located right on the border between Monmouthshire and Torfaen, Llandegfedd Lake offers a variety of outdoor activities with something to interest everyone. Look forward to a wonderful day out with the kids in beautiful scenery between Pontypool and Usk.

There are waymarked walking trails of various lengths with plenty for the kids to explore along the way. Coed-y-paen Walking Trail is an interesting short trail and ideal for families.

The Lake is ideal for watersports including canoeing, kayaking, sailing and paddleboarding. Courses, taster sessions and tuition are available. Multi-activity days for children from eight years upwards run during school holidays. Meanwhile, land-based activities include archery, axe throwing, laser clay shooting and orienteering. Lots of inspiration for exciting birthday parties.
