Lakeside Arts Centre

Plan a visit with the children either to a family friendly event at the Lakeside Arts Centre or to just relax in the lakeside parkland. The University of Nottingham’s unique public arts centre has an exciting programme of music, dance, theatre, visual art and family events and activities all year round.

Look out for the children’s workshops and summer school programmes that offer great activities for children of all ages. Take a picnic on a family day out; explore the landscaped gardens, go boating on the lake or let the kids release some energy on the children’s playground outside DH Lawrence Pavilion.

The open space of the extensive playing fields are great for family ball games. There are cafes offering a range of refreshments to complete a great day out with the kids.
