Lakeland Wildlife Oasis details...

The Lakeland Wildlife Oasis near Milnthorpe has a fantastic collection of over 100 species of insects, fish, birds, reptiles and mammals.

Explore the evolutionary journey spanning 300,000,000 years and start by examining fossils then follow the ant trail. Discover free snow leopard, flying birds, butterflies and bats and share the meerkat experience.

The Oasis also has a climbing frame and safe outdoor area, perfect for the little ones to let off steam.

The “little zoo with lots to do” is an all weather attraction combining lush tropical halls with outdoor animal enclosures. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating, and plenty for children to enjoy, whatever the weather.

Now you can get up close and personal to its latest additions – Emperor Tamarin monkeys that live alongside the ‘Wild Café’.

Here you can enjoy lunch with a difference looking directly into the Emperor Tamarins’ habitat. You can tuck into your meal, literally inches from the monkeys, while they tuck into theirs!

Visitors to the café don’t need to have pre-purchased a ticket to the park itself to enjoy this unique dining experience either. The new addition to the attraction is open to everyone, free of charge.

The zoo is open daily from 10am until 5pm with last entry at 4pm.

For more information, or to book your ticket for the Park itself, visit the website.
