Step back in time on a family day out and discover vintage and veteran cars, bikes, scooters at the Lakeland Motor Museum in Cumbria.
Head down memory lane to the admire a unique collection of 30,000 exhibits. That includes 140 classic cars and motorbikes, all carefully assembled over 50 years. Nestled in the scenic Leven Valley and open seven days a week.
The entire collection is presented in a social context where there is an authentic heritage feel with shop fronts including an old Co-op store and the kids can take a quiz.
The Campbell Bluebird exhibition has replicas of the famous vehicles built for speed including 1935 Blue Bird car, 1939 Blue Bird Boat K4 and 1967 jet hydroplane Bluebird K7.
Café Ambio is situated adjacent to the museum, offers stunning views across the River Leven and has both indoor and outdoor terrace seating.
