Jodrell Bank is an amazing, awe-inspiring place in Cheshire. A world-leading deep-space radio observatory, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Lovell Radio Telescope and an award-winning national visitor attraction.

The First Light Pavilion is a stunning new addition that opened in June 2022 and includes a state-of-the-art permanent exhibition on the history of Jodrell Bank. Unearth inspirational stories of Jodrell Bank’s pioneering scientists in the new permanent exhibition, explore the depths of space in an immersive planetarium experience, and enjoy views of the Jodrell Bank arboretum from the First Light cafe terrace.

Allow time to explore the arboretum on the fully accessible Jodrell Bank site.
