How Stean Gorge

Discover the natural beauty of the limestone gorge in Nidderdale in North Yorkshire on an action packed family activity day and explore the limestone gorge cave by torch light. Take part in outdoor pursuits, group activities, team-building days and visitor attractions in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. Activities include ghyll scrambling, gorge walking, caving, canoeing, abseiling, rock climbing, mountain biking and a Via Ferrata also available.

The gorge is about 1km in length and 20 metres high in places. Wear sturdy shoes, cave may not be suitable for under 5s.
