Holme Pierrepoint Country Park

Dedicate the whole day to enjoy a perfect family day out at Holme Pierrepoint Country Park. For a relaxing family day take a picnic and enjoy the lakeside trails on foot or on your bikes following the cycle trails. Or get more active and try the activities on offer in the Family Fun Park such as segways or the adventure activity course, suitable for children over 8 years. You might want to choose the Sky Trail High Ropes course where you can choose how high you go on the rope walkways, narrow beams and rope swings. Younger children below 8 years and over 2 years can have a go at the safe Sky Tykes ropes course. The ECombat course suitable for ages 8 years and above offers an all-weather battlefield where families can share an adrenalin fuelled session playing at soldiers or as an alternative just take it easy on the 9-hole mini golf course.

The country park is home to the National Watersports Centre and offers a range of water sports to try as well as holding exciting national level competitions and regattas that are open for public spectators, check the schedule of events on the website from speedboat racing to white water rafting to triathlon events, whether spectating, relaxing or taking part, a visit to Holme Pierrepoint makes a great family day out.

There is a small car parking charge for the country park and any activities are paid for on a pay as you go basis.
