GreenWood

Hugely popular with families, GreenWood is one of the great kids days out in North Wales. The host of fun adventure attractions will keep kids fully entertained for hours.

There are pedal-powered moonkarts, a barefoot trail, huge bouncing pillow, exciting 70m sledge run and a smaller run to ensure tiny kids don’t miss out on the fun.

Older kids can negotiate the netted walkways and tube slides of TreeTop Towers while under 7s will love Tunnel Warren. Nobody should miss their chance to ride the Green Dragon Roller Coaster, believed to be the world’s only people-powered coaster.

For extra challenges, youngsters can construct a den out of natural materials, find their way through the Crocodile Maze or tackle the WildWEB to see whether they can make it up through the WEB to the very top.

The whole family will need to work together on Jungle Boats to travel along the canal. Would-be Robin Hoods will jump at the chance to try shooting a traditional longbow – under careful supervision, of course!

An important part of the day will be Rabbit Village. At 2.30pm each day families are invited to meet and get close to rabbits and guinea pigs. Look out for the brightly coloured budgies in the aviary and the resident peacock and peahens around the Adventure Park.

Daily shows take place in the Forest Theatre on peak days. There are even opportunities to create a special souvenir of your visit with the help of expert craftspeople.

Undercover attractions include the Enchanted WoodBarn for soft play (maximum height 140cm), Toddlers’ Village, Little Forest PlayBarn for under 3s and the Puzzle Barn. Plenty of things to do whatever the weather!
