Greenfield Valley Heritage Park details...

Treat the family to a day out at Greenfield Valley Heritage Park in Flintshire. You will find plenty of things to do and see whenever you visit. Step back in time at the Greenfield Valley Museum and learn about the history of the valley, from the Abbey to the industries of the 19th century.

Explore the open-air museum to discover buildings such as a Victorian school house and historic farmhouses, which have been rescued from around Flintshire. Find out how a Tudor farmer and his family might have lived. There are interactive audio and visual displays to bring history to life. Young visitors can even dress up.

Then stretch your legs on a nature walk in the surrounding beautiful woodland, home to numerous birds and animals. Look out for ancient monuments such as Basingwerk Abbey and St Winefride’s Well. Make sure you allow plenty of time for the kids to make the most of the playgrounds! Highlights are likely to include a wonderful adventure tree house, soft play for little ones, Mud Kitchens and the Mega Tower Maze.
