Gallery of Modern Art details...

Glasgow’s world class Gallery of Modern Art (GoMA) is a great place for a day out with the kids. Conveniently located in the very centre of Glasgow it is an ideal starting point for a visit to the city. GoMA has an ever-changing programme of exhibitions and workshops, bound to keep the whole family entertained and satisfy anyone’s inner artist. There is a successful Artists in Residence programme too, providing many opportunities for interaction. Containing four galleries, a shop, cafe and library, all housed within a superb example of classical architecture which over the years has been a private residence, bank, Royal Exchange and library , GoMA is a great destination, whatever the weather. Check the website for the latest information on events and exhibitions. The gallery of Modern Art is within easy reach of both Central and Queen Street Stations, simply look for the iconic Glasgow landmark, the Statue of The Duke of Wellington, normally adorned with his (unofficial) trademark traffic cone hat!
