In this witty, new breed of mystery, George (Hugh Jackman) is a shepherd who reads detective novels to his beloved sheep every night, assuming they can’t possibly understand. But when a mysterious incident disrupts life on the farm, the sheep realise they must become the detectives. As they follow the clues and investigate human suspects, they prove that even sheep can be brilliant crime-solvers.

What starts out as a modern-day caper in a museum, soon tumbles down a wormhole, as the titular macguffin beams the pair back to ancient China. If your kids have never seen T&J in action, now’s the time.

Charlie The Wonderdog – Release Date 22nd May – Certificate PG

This face-lapping, taco-munching, cactus-colliding canine probably wouldn’t be your first choice for the job of saving Earth from Puddy the dastardly supercat. But that just makes this Owen Wilson-voiced accidental hero even more hilarious, in a family animation that the whole family will love.
