Dewa Roman Experience

Discover Roman history on a day out in Chester at the attraction where you can experience the sights, sounds and smells of Roman Britain in the dark hold of a Roman Galley, inspect the reconstructed granary, barracks, bath-house, taverna and market stalls that would have been part of the fortress of the Twentieth Legion. Budding archaeologists can inspect the excavations and sort ancient pottery and bones. Try on Roman armour, fire a catapult, build a hypocaust and create a mosaic.
