Delamere Forest

When you are looking for places to go to enjoy the outdoors and fresh air, head to Delamere Forest in Cheshire.

Days out in the forest are so much fun for all the family when you explore this extensive woodland on foot or on your bikes. Follow the network of pathways around the lakes, take a picnic, join the Ranger-led activities or choose a more exciting adventure on the high ropes course to discover the forest at tree top level. There is also a large bike hire centre if you can’t use your own bikes and Segways at the ropes centre. Little ones can enjoy a Gruffalo hunt.

Why not try something different and visit early morning to see the sun rise and hear the dawn chorus or take a torch at dusk and explore the woodland in a different light.
