Dartmoor National Park is a wonderful family day out, with miles of open moorland to explore, wooded valleys and tumbling streams.
See the beautiful Dartmoor Ponies. They are an integral part of the landscape and roam freely around the National Park. Like all livestock, they are owned by farmers. Remember not to feed them!
Enjoy the wonderful wild, open moorlands and deep river valleys, with a rich history and rare wildlife.
There are Information Centres at Haytor, Princetown and Postbridge.
