A visit to Creswell Crags near Worksop makes a fascinating family day out with the kids where you can explore the limestone gorge, caves museum, and visitors centre close to the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire border.

Discover life in the Ice Age between 50,000 and 10,000 years ago on the Ice Age Cave Tour in the Robin Hood Cave or take the Witch Marks Cave Tour or the Art in the Ice Age Cave Tour that takes you into Church Hole Cave to investigate the only Ice Age rock art in Britain.

There is a full programme of exciting events and exhibitions for all ages to enjoy. Children’s Birthday parties are offered for children over 5 years on an Ice Age Adventure party and under 5s on a Mini Mammoth party.

There is no charge to visit Creswell Crags site or to walk around the lake and gorge, it is also free to visit the shop and coffee shop plus a small car park charge.
