Conwy Water Gardens is a lovely free place to go with kids in North Wales. Follow the nature trail to find fantail pigeons, pheasants, capybara, otters and woodland birds. Pop into the Aquatic Centre to see over 100 species of fish and visit the Reptile Centre housing snakes, geckos, frogs and more. For an extra treat, check out the selection of pancakes available at The Dutch Pancake House on the same site.
