Don’t miss Caerleon Roman Fortress and Baths if you are planning a day out around Newport in South Wales. See the cold and warm baths, exercise rooms and other features that were once part of the legionary fortress of Isca. There are hands-on activities for children and a video presentation to bring these fascinating remains to life. After your visit inspect the remains of the legionary barracks and Caerleon Amphitheatre nearby (admission to the fortress and amphitheatre is free).
