History will come to life for kids at the friendly Barry War Museum in the Vale of Glamorgan. At this free museum, families will find a variety of things to do and see, all offering a glimpse of life in wartime. There is a replica of a WW1 trench, a WW2 Anderson shelter, a 1940s kitchen and many other exhibits. The museum is run by volunteers and only open at certain times.
