For a relaxing family outing, take the kids to Ashton Court Estate on the south-west edge of Bristol. There are over 850 acres of park and woodland and lots of things for families to do.
Attractions include walking trails, deer parks, a miniature railway (on certain dates in summer), Tree Tops High Ropes, golf courses, mountain biking trails and picnic areas. The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta is held here each August.
