Well that’s because he is!
Not sure where the best Santa’s are hiding!?
Well, that’s where we come in! This week we give you a little shortcut to the top places to visit Santa this festive season at some truly magical places throughout the UK.


National Coal Mining Museum, West Yorkshire

This Christmas, before Santa goes down your chimney he’s going down the mine! Travel 140m underground to join Santa in his unique underground grotto. Will the bell place you on the naughty or nice list? Good children will receive a present and certificate while bad children will get coal…


Xscape, West Yorkshire

See Santa and meet special guest characters, take part in the Parade and jump into the sleigh for a photo with Santa himself (December 6th 4.30pm-6pm).

Twinlakes, Leicestershire

West Midland Safari Park, Worcestershire

West Midland Safari Park is hosting its annual Santa Safari, where guests can meet the big man himself and his jolly elf helpers.  Be magically transported to the North Pole to visit Santa in his grotto. Children will then get to choose their very own present in the Elves’ Workshop!



Green Dragon Eco Farm, Buckinghamshire

There’s festive fun at Farmer Christmas Land exploring its Enchanted Forest, Wishing Tree, Santa’s Snowpits, Christmas Craft Workshop and visit to Farmer Christmas to receive a lovely gift on his giant red tractor! Green Dragon reindeer, turkeys, owls and Santa’s sheep are there too! And make and take home special reindeer food for Christmas Eve and receive a tasty Christmas treat before you go!

Paradise Wildlife Park, Hertfordshire

Go and visit Santa in his Grotto at Paradise this Christmas. You can meet him & his animal friends at Hertfordshire’s leading zoo, where there is lots of festive fun to have this Christmas!

Santa arrives from Saturday 23rd November and will be there every weekend and selected weekdays until 15th December after which he will be there everyday!


Spinnaker Tower, Hampshire

Join Santa’s elves in the Tower’s workshop as they make the finishing touches to their latest batch of cuddly toys. Once their toy is finished, no trip to Santa’s workshop is complete without a visit to see Father Christmas in his grotto!


Kent Life, Maidstone

Take a train ride with the head elf, visit the farmyard friends and cuddle corner. In the magical grotto, decorate gingerbread, meet the elves and receive a special gift from Father Christmas too! There’s even treats for grown-ups. Father Christmas will be with us on selected dates in December.


Birdworld, Surrey

Visit Birdworld this Christmas to enter a magical winter wonderland full of different festive scenes complete with a very special spotting trail. Meet Santa’s reindeer and some friendly farm animals before the children are taken to Santa by the impish elves to receive their present.


Hatfield House, Hertfordshire

Wrap up warm and join Hatfield House for a Festive Song Sing-Along out in the Stable Yard on Saturday 7th December 12pm – 5pm. Go along and enjoy the merry atmosphere created by twinkling lights, the magnificent tree, live music and festive feasts.

Entry and parking are both FREE.


Amberley Museum, Sussex

Bring the family for a magical Christmas experience this December at Amberley Museum! Amberley Museum’s 36-acre site is full of surprises, especially during the festive season. Ride the Christmas Express Train to visit Father Christmas in the 19th Century Ticket Office. Visit the Market Stalls, enjoy Children’s Activities and take a frosty stroll joining in on our Family Christmas Trail.

Each child will receive a special present from Santa himself. Father Christmas is visiting us on selected weekends in December. Pre-Booking is required to see Father Christmas.


The Snow Centre, Hertfordshire

Santa has found the perfect place to hang out in the lead up to Christmas – The Snow Centre of course! When taking time out to visit all the boys and girls, Santa Claus loves his home from home in freezing temperatures in Hemel Hempstead every weekend, 7th – 24th December.


Bletchley Park, Buckinghamshire

Step back in time and experience Bletchley Park’s Vintage 1940’s Christmas Grotto. The grotto will be open weekends and selected weekdays from Saturday 30th November to 23rd December.

Tickets cost just £7.50 for children and entrance to the park is free for the under 12s.



West Somerset Railway, Somerset

Get festive with West Somerset Railway this Christmas. Travel on one of the festive specials, choose from the brand-new Santa’s Winter Wonderland from Bishops Lydeard or the ever-popular Santa Special from Minehead. Visit Dunster By Candlelight by steam or try one of the Carol Trains.


Cheddar Gorge & Caves, Somerset

Visit Cheddar Gorge & Caves with the whole family, including your dog! For selected dates from 16th November children can meet Father Christmas, sing some songs, listen to a festive tale, receive a present (if they’ve been good) and marvel at the magic of Christmas at Cheddar.
