January will be filled with family events to keep you all entertained. Even though the lull of Christmas has set in and all anyone wants to do is sit on the sofa and eat left-overs, there’s so much out there to see and do this month! We have pulled together a selection of events and activities happening across the country that we think will be perfect for family days out during January.
One of the highlights to start the year is the latest exhibition at the V&A Museum – Winnie-the-Pooh: Exploring a Classic. This special exhibition will be a multi-sensory, playful exhibition that will explore the magical world of Winnie-the-Pooh, visitors will be taken on a journey exploring the thrilling interplay between text and illustration, shedding new light on the creative collaboration between Milne and Shepard.
The Big Garden Birdwatch 2018 will take place on 27th to 29th January, so why not grab the binoculars and take a seat in the garden, or take a walk in your local nature reserves and see what birds you can see. Visit RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch to find out more and download your Birdwatching pack! Kids will love taking part and exploring the great British outdoors.
If you are looking for a wild family day out, why not visit Paradise Wildlife Park? Full of wonderful animals, special events and the chance to save 10% when you book online in advance. You can visit the Big Cats territory to see tigers, snow leopard, white lions, jaguar, white tiger and more! Book now.
Let us know what your planning to do this month and if there is anywhere you take your family to get out of the house after Christmas!
Happy New Year to all!
