Home learning for for toddlers and pre schoolers up to age 5

  1. Hungry Little Minds is great website set up to keep young children busy at home. Suitable for children aged 0 to 5 years old.
  2. Keep ages 0-6 years entertained with a wide variety of free CBeebies games and activities here. Enjoy number magic, make a Peter Rabbit mask, sing along with Mr Tumble and more.
  3. From shadow drawing and sock puppets to natural art and woodwork, these 50 ideas to try at home will help banish boredom!
  4. Have fun learning about the night sky together. This could be the perfect excuse for a slightly later bedtime than usual! See here.
  5. The website of I CAN, the children’s communication charity, has advice on talking to children about coronavirus and ideas for home-based activities to improve communication skills.
  6. Maths. The animated adventures of the Numberblocks show tots just how much fun numbers can be. Over 40 episodes are available here.
