National Coal Mining Museum

Paradise Wildlife Park

A trip to Paradise Wildlife Park in Broxbourne really is a special day out for the family. This family-run Hertfordshire animal park offers visitors the opportunity to explore and get up close to an amazing collection of animals. Some of these include the snow leopard, ocelot, white lion, white tiger, cheetah, zebra, camel, wolf, reindeer, tapir, gibbon, marmoset and armadillo.


Wildwood Trust

Observatory Science Centre

Arundel Castle

Lances will shatter and tilt-rail tensions will run high at Arundel Castle on 23-28 July as four international teams from England, France, Scandinavia and Australia clash in the six-day jousting and hunting games tournament. Alongside the excitement of the tournament, medieval activities will take place in a large tented encampment, including a storyteller, crafts, cooking demonstrations, falconry, have-a-go archery, medieval music performances and more!

Valentine’s Mansion & Gardens
