Enjoy a free family day out at Stafford Castle on Sunday 17th May. Visitors can look forward to seeing lots of fascinating animals and there may even be some hands-on opportunities. See an exotic zoo, bees in an observation hive, alpacas, birds of prey, ferrets, a pony and more.
Both local and national charities will have stalls with information about a range of important subjects. Additional family activities include face painting, have-a-go archery, a craft workshop for children, roaming entertainment, games and armour displays in the castle keep. There will also be food stalls and crafts, artwork and local produce on sale.
Admission to the event is free; a charge applies for car parking (pay by cash only).
