The Taunton Garrison visit Montacute House

See the past come to life with this fun living history event at Montacute House in Somerset on selected dates during May half term. The Taunton Garrison will be showing visitors what early military camp life was like.

Chat to the camp cook, blacksmith and the barber surgeon and find out about their work as you explore the historic military encampment. Join in musket drills and watch pike drills. There will be muskets on display but they will not be fired.

Normal admission charges apply, the event itself is free once on site.
