Summer of Play at Waddesdon Manor

Find out what’s on for young explorers and their families at Waddesdon Manor in Buckinghamshire during the summer holidays!

Activities vary depending on the date of your visit – check Waddesdon’s website for full details so you know what to expect.

• Animal Week – 22nd-26th July. Take part in The Big Butterfly Count, make 3D woodland animals, enjoy the Dragon Whisperer’s interactive family show, see birds of prey and more.
• Get Active Week – 29th July-2nd August. Archery, a climbing wall, axe throwing and crazy golf on selected dates.
• By The Seaside Week – 5th-9th August. Get creative at the Mermaids and Pirates Painting Workshop. Join Captain Swish Buckle and Long Joan Silver for an adventure on The Pirate Ship.
• Circus Week – 12th-16th August. Watch the spectacular Fiery Jack Family Show in the hand-painted canvas tent and then have a go at some circus skills, from juggling to trapeze sessions!
• Storytelling Week – 19th-23rd August.
• Dinosaur Week – 26th-31st August. Learn about fossils and try digging for fossils. Plus, over the Bank Holiday weekend, meet life-like dinosaurs roaming the grounds!
