Medieval Moments - Summer Holidays at Sudeley Castle

Follow the Knight Trail at Sudeley Castle in Gloucestershire during the summer holidays and find out what it took to be a real knight! Discover all the stages, from being a squire to acting as a protector of the kingdom. Have a go at target practice and dress up as you explore the castle and grounds.

In addition, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 21st July to 27th August visitors can watch magnificent birds of prey during spectacular flying displays. There will also be informal meet-and-greets throughout the day.

Finally, history comes to life over the weekend of 15th-16th August with a Civil War re-enactment. Join Lord Hopton’s Regiment of Foote and discover the story of Charles I’s nephew Prince Rupert. There will be a skirmish, pike drills and a living history village.
